Vesak, is the Day of the Full Moon in the month of May, and is also the most sacred day to millions of Buddhists around the world.

It was on Vesak in the year 623 B.C., when Buddha was born. It was also on Vesak when Buddha attained enlightenment, and it was on Vesak that Buddha passed away.

Happy Vesak

For us Buddhists this day represent a joyous celebration of the birth, enlightenment, and passing away of Gautama Buddha, while we remain open and thankful for his message of compassion and devotion to the service of humanity.

These days, this message of peace, compassion, and commitment is more relevant than ever before.

  1. I feel that it’s a very important day, dear Raffaello. I feel it. And, of course is a day with a lot of symbolisms. Birth and Passe away. Thank you my friend. Have a nice week.
