Traveller’s heart

15 Dec

Stuck
bound
held
kept.

Prisoner
of unpleasant memories
I cannot
escape from.

Heir
of my own
too heavily paid
debts.

Fearful
for all sadness
my heart
lived.

Oppressed
my soul
by a heavy
dark blanket.
Unable to offer
you
my deepest
feelings.

Yet,
turn to me
your caring
eyes,

listen to my
traveller’s stories
with an open
heart,

and new life
you will
bring back
to me

and new love
as a wild flower
on a windy shore
will grow.

Able
to feel again
the warmth of
life.

I wish

21 Nov

I wish
I have words
but words I have not
to express
the deepest
into me.

I wish
you could hear
but hear you could not
my wordless speech
to your deepest
soul.
