Today is the World Introvert Day.
As an extremely introverted person, I highly appreciate the periods of the year after the festive celebrations.
During festive days one is usually exposed to more contacts and more prolonged ones, and this can be exhausting.
So, on these calmer days, we introverts can recharge our batteries, get some peaceful moments, and recenter.
So, if you are an introvert, take your time to recover.
If you are an extrovert, please respect this need.
Thanks for sharing this – I wasn’t aware there was an official day for people like me so will certainly be taking my recovery time!

Have you read “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking” by Susan Cain? I highly recommend it. It helped me, an extrovert, appreciate my daughters, husband, and students who are introverts so much more! Robyn

Hi Robyn, Susan Cain is one of my favorite authors about being introverted, and I have read the book to better cope with the “outer world”.
Thank you for mentioning it!!
