Today’s Book Of The Day is Neuroplasticity by Antonio Matteo Bruscella, an excellent book to learn about this approach.

Neuroplasticity by Antonio Matteo Bruscella

Dr. Bruscella is an Italian psychologist and psychotherapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to change its neural pathways and synapses when facing events that require behavior, environment, or neural processes adaptation.

CBT – Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy modifies the neural circuits involved in the regulation of fears, negative emotions, and behaviors.
CBT, when studied through Neuroimaging, has shown to be able to positively change our nervous system.
An excessive reactivity of the amygdala can result in anxiety disorders that can be effectively treated using CBT.

The book is a collection of two workbooks, giving practical details on how CBT helps rewire our minds so as to get rid of symptoms of anxiety and procrastination.

The two workbooks in this amazing collection are:

  • COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY. Workbook for Anxiety: A 7-Step Program to Overcome your Fear, Panic, Anxiety, and Worry
  • HOW TO STOP PROCRASTINATING: A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Guide To Breaking The Procrastination Habit, Mastering Your Time, And Overcoming Your Negative Emotions

I have really enjoyed this book as a coach and consultant, as it gives practical suggestions and tools on how to change what is limiting or blocking our growth and rewiring our brains so as to set us free to achieve the life we want and deserve.

We can literally change the way we think, changing our negative behaviors, mindsets, and attitudes, if we want to.
