June is Pride Month.
Pride Month is celebrated each year in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan that represented a key moment for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States.
This month is meant not only to be a celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community, but also a way for society as a whole to celebrate and welcome inclusiveness, acceptance, and diversity.
Also, this month should be seen as an occasion to point out still existing injustices, discrimination, and hate against the LGBTQIA+ community.

So, both if you are a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or an Ally who supports and advocates for the queer community, it’s time to celebrate!
