Portobello is one of the suburbs of Edinburgh, directly facing the sea. It is just 3 miles (5 km) from the city centre, and it faces the Firth of Forth.
I took this photo in late November, on a very windy day.
Several things, to be honest.
The weather. I do not like sunny, hot, sweaty places. I do prefer cold, windy, and rainy ones.
The scenery. I would be living everywhere here in the country, in a small cottage.
The people. Scots are amazing people, warmhearted, open, direct, with a dark sense of humor.
The language. I love how they speak, here.
Porto…bello! 🤩🤩🤩

How lovely! Thank you for sharing. I don’t know much about the Scots, but I also enjoy the scenery. I look forward to more pics.

Never mind, Giannis!
One question … is that Γιάννησ or Γιάννη … as I use a vocative, there?
